""I'm coming for you, and nothing living or dead can stop me." "

One witch is the most feared, the most ruthless, and the most deadly of all the witches in the county. If she hunts for you, she will find you. If you have crossed her, you don't stand a chance. She is the witch assassin, and her name is Grimalkin.

Grimalkin's one alliance is with Tom Ward, the Spook's apprentice. With Tom, she plans to rid the world of the most terrifying evil, the Fiend, who once did her great wrong.

For the first time, fans of the Last Apprentice series will hear the story from Grimalkin's side, as she is hunted herself by creatures of darkness set on revenge.

Grimalkin has never been defeated. But can she survive an enemy created for the sole purpose of destroying her?

A very interesting installment, we get to view the world through evil eyes. Now nothing is as black and white as it previously seemed. Yet make no mistake Grimalkin is anything but good. It just so happens that her goal and Tom's are temporarily the same. The Devil himself must be destroyed.
The journey has very little in the way of boundaries. Meaning no one is safe from death and serious maiming. This is entirely a different and more dark and sinister a world than the one we inhabit. Death is a constant companion for all.The dark comes up with some new forces that are relentless as well as horrifying.

A quick read that is very entertaining. The awesome pictures at the beginning of the chapters will tempt you to read just one more chapter. I am excited to see what will happen next.
